We offer Durr Ecoclean cleaning systems, an environmentally friendly closed loop degreasing system as an alternative to ozone depleting and their substitute solvents whose health and environmental effects are yet to be fully determined. The Durr Ecoclean systems employs a common safe commodity hydrocarbon called isoparafin. Durr’s vacuum technology and closed loop design allows the isoparafin to perform and function like the classic chlorinated solvents such as Tri and Perc without the losses to atmosphere nor the exposure of the operator to these know carcinogens.
The Durr system recovers the cleaning fluid on board for continual regeneration and reuse. There are no air permits, stacks or other discharges to deal with using the Durr System. Since the isoparafin is a simple hydrocarbon like the oil it cleans from the parts, the small amount of hydrocarbon that is lost with the oil removal from the system is disposed of as common waste oil. There are no regulated disposal issues nor any cradle to grave liability associated with the disposal of waste chlorinated solvent. Unlike other solvent used in vapor degreasing there is no acidification of the isoparafin and therefore never a need to change the fluid inventory.
The Durr system first injection flood washers the parts, vapor degreases the parts and complete dries the parts under vacuum.
